Iron Maiden. The band that got me into metal. I love them, absolutely love them. I still think they are the best band, hehe. And they are, of course, my favourite. I can't really say what it is about them that withdraw me to them like that, but there is something alright. Their music, their lyrics! It all makes me feel so good inside.

My all time favourite song is Fear of the Dark. Every time I listen to it, I get this feeling inside. When the music starts, those first tunes... I get that in-love-feeling. Strange, perhaps, but that is how it is. I am in love with Iron Maiden. Nothing can ever change that.

I would love to talk and talk on and on about them, hehe, but let me know what YOU think of them! Let's have a discussion, shall we? It is much more fun than listening to me rambling, haha Laughing

OH, and just for the record - IRON MAIDEN ROCKS!!!

That would be all for now...

i remember my da buying a cd in virgin records one day and me as a kid goin along shoppin with him. virgin were giving away a free sample CD with each CD, a 70s collection, an 80s collection and a 90s collection. My Da wanted to get the 80s collection for himself but somehow I convinced him to get the 90s collection for me, and guess what track number 4 was...Fear of the Dark Very Happy and so my life of metal started and a new Maiden fan was born, for better or worse... I got Seventh Son of a Seventh Son soon after that, which is still to this day, imo, their best album Very Happy

Iron Maiden... I don't know why, but I never really did get into that whole thing... The band that got me listening to heavy metal, though, is Deep Purple.

I bought this cheap-ass collection CD once when I was, like... Twelve, maybe... "Rock Giants," it was called. I listened to the first few notes, and then a light shone above the roof of the house, making spectators stop in total awe, and they knew that the dawn of a new era had come, and all was well, and they feasted upon the slices of raw meat which they extracted from the bodies of their neighbours... You see, insanity is never really that far away hereabouts.

I love Iron Maiden. I have ordered my ticket for the 2008 concert. Iron Maiden was one of the first metal bands I listened to. Though Manowar thaught me about metal, I listened to Maiden before that.

They are truly one of the greatest bands in the world. Indeed an important band for metal music as well.

Up the Irons!
